Liris, whose shares plunged on their first day of trading, posted a rebound on the second session, with the stock recovering to levels above its initial public offering (IPO) price.
Liris, a South Korean AI company, saw its share price fall sharply on its trading debut, a drop widely characterized in local coverage as a first-day plunge. The decline had pushed the stock below the price at which shares were offered to the public.
The second trading session brought a reversal. The stock strengthened, moving back above the IPO price and offsetting some of the losses from the debut.
The initial fall came despite strong attention on Liris as an AI sector listing. The rebound on day two indicates renewed buying interest, though the stock's trajectory remains subject to normal market volatility.
The claim that Liris suffered a first-day plunge and then rebounded above its public offering price on the second day is True.
