AI features and high-resolution imaging

The Egloo S8 PRO continues Truen's Egloo line of smart home cameras, adding AI-based detection capabilities to ultra-high-definition video capture, positioning it in the premium segment of the home security market. Product materials published on the official Egloo camera site showcase the S8 PRO's design and specifications.

Release status remains uncertain

While the announcement of the S8 PRO's launch has circulated, the product had not yet appeared on Truen's official Naver Smart Store listing as of the review period, leaving open questions about when general consumers will be able to purchase the camera directly. The company's official channels had also not yet posted full product imagery for the S8 PRO, meaning that a completed, broadly available launch has not been definitively established.

The reported launch therefore appears substantially accurate, with only a possible gap between announcement and retail availability. Verdict: Mostly True
